No.9 Tokyo Air Raid, New Start after the War and the Ground Work as a Trading House in Automobile Spare Parts

There were a lot of merchandise lined up in the showroom of Empire Motor at Gofukubashi, just a day before inspection by Army in March 9, 1945.
Tokyo changed entirely after that night. 110 of B29 bombed Tokyo area which resulted in 20,000 death of people and 200,000 houses burned down.
Almost all of the employees scattered about with this raid but Empire Motor kept supplying merchandise to the Army under their inspection until the end of the war in August, 1945.
Empire Motor started to sell general merchandise such as cosmetics and magazines at the ground floor of the head office, while cleaning up and reconstructing the devastated building.
Empire Motor, as such, made a new start in 1946 as a trading house of the spare parts for automobiles.
Empire Motor, before the war, had a large number of stocks as a super dealer of Ford Motor in Tokyo district. Such being the case, local Ford dealers as well as dealers in Taiwan, Karafuto and Korea came to order to Empire Motor to get spare parts in time.
Empire Motor became well known among those in the same trading business.
This made foundation of Empire Motor later on as a wholesale trader of the automobile spare parts.
